‘Clearer and constitutional’ baselines bill proposed

ANOTHER baselines bill is set to be filed after the Department of Foreign Affairs had a last-minute objection to House Bill 3216, the baselines bill that sets the parameters of the country’s territory covering the disputed Spratly Island Group off Palawan and Scarbo­rough Shoal near Zambales filed by Cebu Rep. Antonio Cuenco in December last year.

Pump prices up by P.50/liter

Oil companies again increased pump prices as the price of the commodity continues to maintain its high level at the world market.

Petron, Pilipinas Shell, Chevron, Total, Eastern Petroleum and Flying V implemented a P0.50 per liter increase in the price of their gasoline, diesel and kerosene products on Saturday.
